Description

The first half of the trail is all climbing, but the second half is a steeper downhill.

If you don't want to return back the way you came (more climbing), you can head south toward the equestrian center, go through the equestrian center parking lot, then head north on Glendora Mountain Road, and east on Big Dalton Canyon Road to get back to the parking lot.

Parking is located half a mile after making a right onto Big Dalton Canyon Road. The trailhead is at the southwest end of the parking lot.
