Description

This is a fun, relatively short trail that can add to your overall mileage on a hike in Casa Grande Mountain Park. The trail starts at the junction with the Spine Trail and East Butte Trail and climbs up the side of Casa Grande Mountain. It is a relatively easy trail until the junction with the Saguaro Fork Trail. At this point it becomes a moderately difficult trail. After a respectable climb, it then begins a fun descent down towards the valley floor. The trail intersects with the Ridge Trail and once again becomes relatively easy. After another half mile, it ends at the south end of the park at a junction at the end of the East Butte Trail.
