Begins as a dirt road with some tough climbing then becomes doubletrack; many offshoot trails to connect to make a loop.

Description

The trail starts out in the Forest Service parking lot. Proceed through the lower gate on FS 5005. Take the first left and cross the stream onto FS 5011 and follow it to the end.

The first climb is about 0.25 mile in length but is not very difficult. Once it levels out, there is a hidden side trail off the left hand side, stay on Harriet Cove Rd and prepare for the tough climb which hits close to 20% but it's not very long.

At the top, you'll pass several trails on either side. Stay on Harriet Cove and follow it as it winds and climbs gradually and becomes narrower. As you near the end, you'll pass the Ferin Creek Connector on the right, it is a bit obscure but it drops down about five feet and crosses through a creek bed.
