Description

Makebelieve Trail is a must-do trail at Hardy Road. It is awesome either direction, and it makes a great warm up for a longer hike on the more difficult terrain up high and in the ledges.

The trail name is a tip of the hat to Arto Monaco and his legendary children's amusement park "Land of Make Believe" formerly located a short distance down Springfield road in the Hamlet of Upper Jay. Arto's was the first and the original "Land of Make Believe". Perhaps it's a cliche, but this trail is fun enough to bring out the kid in you. :-)
