This trail isn't much on its own, but it does lead to one of the more spectacular viewpoints that I've been privileged to visit. For that reason alone, I recommend following this short trail up the hill.

Once you arrive at a saddle just to the east of Lookout Mountain, the trail is very difficult to follow. It mostly dissolves into nothing but a few scattered cairn piles.
