Description

The Big Beehive to Highline Connector starts high on the Big Beehive Trail. This is well marked with a sign. The trail continually descends, with swichbacks in many places, to arrive at the Highline Trail.

At the top (start) of Big Beehive to Highline Connector, there are views of Lake Agnes and the surrounding mountains to the north. To the southeast is Lake Louise, Fairview Mountain, and other peaks. The trail descends through a thick fir forest. As the trail starts to descend, the views of Lake Agnes and the peaks to the north disappear immediately. The trees become taller and denser as the trail descends, thus slowly obscuring the views of Lake Louise and the mountains to the southeast.

After a little over 0.75 miles, the Big Beehive to Highline Connector ends at a trail junction with Highline Trail. This trail junction is well marked by a sign pointing the way to several destinations from here.
