There is no real trail. It's just a walk along a beautiful, isolated, sandy beach.

Description

Contrary to what you might expect, the beach is clean and at is more beautiful, next to the Mexican border. The northern half looks increasing dirty as you approach the heavily polluted Tijuana River. There are views up the coast towards San Diego and down the coast to the Mexican Coastal Rivera There are many turban, sand dollars and other shells, especially on the northern half, but you are not allowed to take any away.
During the dry season, it would be possible to wade across the Tijuana River and continue along the beach north, but you need to consider the pollution before you try it. You would not want to get your head in the water.
