Park is open dawn to dusk.

Description

Sandy Creek Park has a challenging singletrack, paved, and comfortable trails. Future growth could extend this trail to New Hope Creek Trail or Durham Academy Cross Country Trail. It is not advisable to hike along Cornwallis Road to try to get to Cornwallis Park, as it is busy, has a narrow shoulder, and traffic moves quite quickly.

Flora & Fauna

No flora seen, plenty of foliage.
