DuPont State Recreational Forest is a very popular multiuse, bi-directional trail system, so be on the lookout for hikers, horses, and bikers. It is normally open in any weather although it can close in extended periods of freeze / thaw during the winter.

Description

Coming from Jim Branch, this trail has a short climb in the forest and then a nice, quick and rolling descent to the Locust split.
