DuPont State Recreational Forest is a very popular multiuse, bi-directional trail system, so be on the lookout for hikers, horses, and bikers. It is normally open in any weather although it can close in extended periods of freeze / thaw during the winter.

Description

A gravel road, connecting to the Guion Woods parking lot. This road provides access to a variety of other trails in the area.

Flora & Fauna

Lots of pines and oak trees. Abundance of wildflowers in the summer.
