DuPont State Recreational Forest is a very popular multiuse, bi-directional trail system, so be on the lookout for hikers, horses, and bikers. It is normally open in any weather although it can close in extended periods of freeze / thaw during the winter.

Description

Turkey Knob Road starts off of Reasonover Creek and climbs steadily on its way to Turkey Knob near the intersection with Pinnacle Mountain Road. It connects to Reasonover Creek, Poplar Hill Loop, and Turkey Knob. This trail leads to one of the best downhill sections of DuPont on Turkey Knob.
