DuPont State Recreational Forest is a very popular multiuse, bi-directional trail system, so be on the lookout for hikers, horses, and bikers. It is normally open in any weather although it can close in extended periods of freeze / thaw during the winter.

Description

Conservation Road is a gravel fire road that starts off of Buck Forest Road near the covered bridge that spans Little River and continues south where it ends at Reasonover Road near the Fawn Lake parking area. It connects to Pitch Pine, Joanna Road, Three Lakes, Bridal Veil Falls Road, Barn, Shelter Rock, Lake Julia Road, Camp Summit Road, Shortcut, Airstrip, Fawn Lake Road, Scarlet Oak, and Reasonover Creek.
