Description

After passing the big switchback in the Coal Basin Trail - South road grade, you'll come to a meadow. The singletrack splits off to your right very steeply, but soon mellows out.

This trail sees little use apart from cattle and hunters so it disappears in a few sections. Just keep moving forward and it'll reappear. After the initial climb, you drop to and then cross a creek, which is followed by a steep climb to the finish. If you have a sense of adventure, like a challenge, and are looking for solitude; this is your trail.
