Description

This trail connects with the Manzanita Trail at the south end and the Bushay Campground at the north end.

It's most commonly done as part of the Lake Mendocino Loop, but can also be accessed either via Bushay Campground or the Deerwood Trailhead at the southern end.

The trail follows rolling oak woodlands and crosses an old truck road a couple of times. The rolling terrain makes it equally pleasant and agreeable no matter which way you decide to take it.
