This section of the SART gets really technical and rocky in some sections. Some of the sections can be loose, washed out, or blocked by major obstacles, such as fallen trees and huge rock slides. The final section runs through some low, thick trees along the edge of a large drop-off. There are also tight switchbacks and extremely narrow sections along the final section, so this might not be the best route for beginners or those who are uncomfortable hiking near sheer drops.
