It's typically snowy from November through February. May be closed during the summer months due to fire danger, check with the ranger station for details.

Description

The Horse Bypass allows equestrians using the parking area to bypass the Sulphur Canyon Picnic ground in reaching both South Faulty Trail and Armijo Trail.

The trail is fairly eroded but is still a good trail to connect to others.

The trail is a key link in the Armijo Loop.
