Description

One of the most popular loops. It is a great trail from Murrell Park to Madd Shelter. Then on the return from Madd Shelter, you'll enjoy the section with large step downs, winding trail, and a few features built for mountain bikers. Conditions are mostly smooth dirt and clay. Views of the lake and vegetation are also plentiful.

While this sign may be confusing, it is perfectly legal and recommended for foot traffic to start the trail at this spot. Mountain bike traffic is routed the opposite direction in order to prevent user conflict.
