Description

This is a really beautiful trail that starts on a steep slope up Silver Canyon. It transitions from singletrack set within a grove of a huge aspen to a shale slope alongside Silver Creek.

Take some time to observe the complex geologic scenery that surrounds you. This dramatic trail passes beneath colorful cliffs on both sides of the canyon. In July, the wildflower meadow at the entrance to the canyon is full of Lupine.

Flora & Fauna

Flora include: Lupine, Mariposa Lily, Western Columbine, Scarlet Paintbrush, Larkspur.
