Description

The north end of this trail is at the junction of FS Rd 106, FS Rd 335 and the Drop In trail. The south end of it hooks up with FS Rd 530, just across from the Cajun Turkey trail.

Hiking from north to south, you'll start out in the trees gradually climbing until you are met with 2 rocky sections that go over and around boulders. After this, the trail is mostly smooth and fast. You'll come to a junction of sorts - stay straight or right (going left ends up dropping you down a nasty, rutted out, steep, loose descent through private property).

Continue up a climb surfaced in orange-red rock. The trail eventually enters a burned out area with a fork, stay right again and enjoy some nice descending switchbacks before taking on the limestone rock gardens on your way to the southern end of the trail.
