Description

Starting from the Tunnel Canyon, the West Ridge has 3 significant climbs mixed with some smooth twisting singletrack in the trees before plunging back down into Otero Canyon. The climbs are characterized by loose terrain. There are also a handful of limestone ledges along with the occasional rocky section.

The top of the ridge offers a twisting track among the pion trees with rocky sections here and there before you hit the KAFB withdrawal boundary. From here the trail drops with tight turns and several rocks.
