Description

Not super fun for hiking on, but like everywhere in the area you'll have great views.

The Moab Canyon Paved Path has got to be one of the most scenic paved paths around. It connects the Courthouse Wash trailhead near Arches National Park with Highway 313 that leads to Canyonlands National Park. Along the way, the trail provides access to the Bar M trails and the Mag 7 trails (Gemini Bridges).

From the bottom end near Arches, the route climbs steadily and travels through Moab Canyon, tucked beneath huge red sandstone cliffs. The route levels out quite a bit as you hike along the heart of the Bar M trails.

Near the main Bar M trailhead the pathway ducks under Hwy 191 and connects with the Gemini Bridges parking area. From here the route descends and climbs gradually to its terminus at Hwy 313.

Completely resurfaced July 2017.
