Dogs Leashed
Description
South to North: You'll start on this singletrack after a very brief 30-yard hike along an old power line road, so just be aware that the sign appears to point onto the power line road. The trail goes left into a narrow section of woods, so just be looking for it.
Once onto the trail, you immediately climb up a little rocky section, a few switchbacks, and hit Grosvenor Rd. Cross over, and go up an incline and hit another little rocky section. This leads you to a fairly steep climb up some sharp switchbacks.
Once at the top, the trail has some long, straight sections that have some nice rollers and berms that provide a respite from the overall ascent of this connecting trail. There are a handful of places to get airborne along the way as well.
Once you cross Bedford Ln., you start a very sharp descent with some very narrow-radius berms. About halfway down, you'll encounter a few mountain biking features on the way down to Hwy 340 (Lancashire). Cross over, and you'll "T" into the Back 40 Loop.
North to South: Starting from the Back 40 Loop, make a short climb up and over Hwy 340 (Lancashire), and climb up to Bedford Ln. Dropping in off Bedford Ln, you'll descend down and around a few narrow switchbacks, which give way to a nice, smooth section of trail. That continues along the ridge until you get to a steeper pitch, with some mountain biking features.
You end with a few switchbacks leading down to Grosvenor, and then cross over to a short, rocky descent to complete the section, ending up at Traflagar Rd.
