“Mostly easy singletrack winding through the southeastern Indiana forest.
”
This trailhead begins across the street from the swimming pool parking lot. In the summertime, the pool is a great spot to cool down after a hot hike. There is a kiosk and a few picnic tables in the shade nearby, also. You have to begin on this trail to reach other parts of the trail system.
At the start of the trail, take a left to head north and begin the loop clockwise. The trail begins with a climb, but the grades are not too terrible. Once at the top of the bluff, this trail winds through the forest with relatively little elevation change. There's nothing terribly technical about this trail, but keep your eyes peeled for evidence of the karst landscape (hint: sinkholes!). Some of them are right along the trail.
