This is a fun trail and a great originating point for a lengthy hike in Ted Stiles Preserve. It intersects with Ridge Trail and cuts through the area where the visitor center resides. The trail itself is hard-packed earth and even has an enjoyable minor rock scramble that the whole family can enjoy. The woods on either side have a remote feeling even though they're situated in one of the more densely populated counties in the area.
