Description

If you include the 0.75 mile Tech Loop and the 1-mile Lakeshore Loop, the West Loop is a total of 5.75 miles of great southeast Michigan singletrack. Rolling hills, and a lot of roots and rocks make for an enjoyable and interesting hike.

There are some minor erosion problem areas.

You can shorten this ride by bypassing the Tech and Lakeshore loops by 1.75 miles.
