Description

The trail begins off of Scott Mountain road and travels on the ridgeline in between the East Fork of Anderson Creek and the Middle Fork of Big Pine Creek. From the road, the trail descends, at times steeply, before it begins to follow the ridge line. Along the ridge are a few climbs and descents. The trail was turned into a fire line for the Anderson Creek Fire, so it is a little wider than what you would expect for a ridgetop trail.

There are great views along the trail and it ends in a complex of old logging roads. This trail is mainly an out and back, but you might be able to combine it with some other trails and roads to create a larger loop.
