The Caldera Trail will take you through the outer reaches of Bootleg Canyon, giving you a very remote feeling at times. There is a little bit of everything you would expect from a harsh desert terrain on this trail.

Although it's relatively short, bring plenty of water for this open, sunny hike. Finish on Boy Scout to the starting point.

Hikers from Mother use Caldera as a finishing trail back to main parking.
