Short trail on easy grades all while following the lake!
Description
The trail is pretty easy to follow, as it essentially follows the lakeshore for its entire length. From the Dickey Day Use Area located 2 miles east of Frisco on Highway 9, hike a singletrack out of the east side of the parking lot towards the lake and parallel to the highway.
Hike north along the edge of the Dillon Reservoir going counterclockwise. After 1 1/2 miles pass the Crown Point-Lakeshore
Connector on the left just before the northern tip of the peninsula. As the trail traverses west then south, pass another left turn with Olympian's Link before hiking into an asphalt parking lot.
Hike south through the parking lot and look for the singletrack again at the far southern end of the parking lot. It is unsigned. Take this a short distance to an asphalt campground loop road. Go right, and look for the singletrack on the right after a very short distance: also unmarked. Continue north onto the singletrack to another point.
Hike around the point, along the lakeshore back to the south and continue on this singletrack all the way through the disc-golf course; exiting the peninsula at a fence line into a residential neighborhood.
