Description

This is a guided route, which means that you are required to hire a local to accompany you on the trail for 200 baht.

There are 20 interpretive signs in Thai and English explaining different aspects of the park and the trail.

Along the way, you'll have opportunities to see wildlife and amazing natural features. The forest, dense and green, opens spectacularly into a high-altitude meadow with views to the north. Depending on the visibility, you can see for miles. As you descend, you'll see the twin temples on the mountain.

The view is clearest in December and January, the later in the year you visit, the higher the likelihood of haze.

For me, it was easily worth the money. If you're in the area, it's a must-do!

Its rather a guided tour than a proper hike. To enter the park its 300 Baht per person plus a mandatory guide for 200 Baht. We enjoyed it very much. 3.6mi
