Description

Carriage Trail is located within Little Mulberry Park and connects the Miller Trail Loop to another portion of Mulberry Park. This trail is short, but can be somewhat challenging as it is all hill. The trail is paved and in excellent condition. From the start of the trail, you ascend along a creek to your left. The first 0.2 miles of the hill are the steepest part. At roughly the 0.2 mile mark, the trail takes a sharp left and continues another 0.5 miles up a gradual ascent.

At the 0.2 mile mark, there is often a beautiful waterfall running. During the wet season, this can be an impressive waterfall. It creates a wonderful sound as you ascend up the first part of the hill.

This entire trail is shaded and located in a heavily wooded forest. There are a couple of options to leave the trail for other unpaved trails that cross Carriage Trail. At the end of this trail, you connect to another section of Little Mulberry Park.

Flora & Fauna

As with other areas of Little Mulberry Park, deer are often seen in this area and an occasional snake. Otherwise, typical North Georgia vegetation grows in the park.
