Description

This trail is also known as "Boy Scout."

There are a variety of parking places to access this trail.

This trail is awesome for a short loop hike. If you are looking for something a little more challenging than Tillman West or Narrowback Mountain Loop, this one is worth a try.

The trail is quite narrow as it winds up and down the mountain; and the climb is fairly modest with a few steeper sections thrown in to keep you honest. There's a false summit, with a short descent, before the final climbing section to the true top. The trail descends only a little more steeply than it climbed and there are a couple of exposed spots up high. There are some rocks and rooty sections throughout but this is a super fun and beautiful section of trail.
