This singletrack winds through typical Florida pine woods. It's a bit wider and less twisty than Crooked Creek Bike Trail, but more scenic. There are some swampy areas, older pines, and huge pinecones.
There is a very pretty picnic area along a river just off the trail. At about 3.6 miles going counterclockwise, the trail turns left and follows a short stretch of dirt road. Turn right on the logging road and go about 100' to the picnic area.
