Description

The Pasture Loop Trail is not a loop by itself; however, combining this trail with the Roaring Brook Trail offers a nice, short loop through the forest. After a half mile hike along the Roaring Brook Trail, you'll reach a trail junction with the Pasture Loop Trail (marked with red discs). You can turn left here or continue another half mile along the Roaring Brook Trail and turn left on to follow the Pasture Trail back, which shares the path with the Stillwater Loop Trail for a short distance.

The trail follows an overgrown forest road. There are no views and you do hear traffic from the Taconic Parkway nearby. But it does get peaceful as you work your way back to the Roaring Brook Trail.
