Description

This is the longest continuous loop in the Burns Park system and has a variety of terrain. Expect to experience everytrhing from easy, smooth singletrack to rocky sections and short, steep and rooty climbs. There is a nice overlook of the quarry/golf course on the south side. There is also a really neat berm/levee on the east side that is framed by overhanging trees, although there is a new detour built that bypasses the berm.

The trail can be accessed from many locations - the BMX track, the BSA parking lot, the gravel parking lot up from the soccer fields, the gravel road by the golf course, or from the covered bridge.

An overlook of the golf course and the river—you can kind of see the Capital far off.
