This singletrack trail has lots of twists and turns, varied terrain, and great views along the way. After crossing the prominent wash, the trail takes you east toward some lone houses on a ridge but expertly avoids them and circles a small outcropping so that you return and head up the foothills toward the Forest Service boundary.

Look for ShockTop Man on the bike rim in the wash near the overlapping juncture here. The trail climbs hills and then descends into a mesquite bosque before coming to the junction near Tres Puertas Road. Expect good views of Diablo Peak along the way.
