This is a relatively flat trail in San Carlos, at least 85% singletrack, with few rocky sections, but some loose sand in places. There are several slight up and downhill sections.

The western section of the loop is slightly downhill. Much of the singletrack was originally meandering cow trails (they're still around so look out for cattle).

There is a rocky section of about 100 meters in the southwest section about half a kilometer before the blue tennis court.

The name comes from the ranch that is being converted to campestre sales. The owner has built trails and a tennis court. As the construction and sales of lots proceeds, there may be some minor trail reroutes in the northwest section.
