Description

The Allamuchy Pond Trail is a popular trail for hikers who park at the Mountain Villa School off of 517. From the school, go down the grass field past the garden until you cross a bridge into the woods. This is the start of the trail. The trail is clearly marked for its entirety into the Deer Park Trail System.

Overall, the trail is much smoother than most of the offerings in Deer Park, with a couple of bridges and roxky sections thrown in for good measure. It is, however, a consistently uphill trail. In addition, the trail gets quickly overgrown during the spring and summer in a couple of spots.
