Description

Shubarth Road/Trail begins at the end of Loy Creek Road. The road rolls over the hills just above Rampart Reservoir, with easy grades without technical features, leading to several trails in the area and providing opportunities for loops.

At mile two, Trail 700.A leads southward to the reservoir. At mile 3.7 it meets with the Stanley Rim Trail (722) which also heads southward. At mile five, the road descends a bit, and Trail 721 descends southward even further to Stanley Reservoir. At mile 6.3, the road meets with Trail 707. Schubarth ends less than half-a-mile to the north.

1.3 miles of the road/trail cross through the U.S. Air Force Academy's Farish Recreation Area. Please stay on the designated road through this property.
