This trail is best accessed from Lost Forest. This route is a looped trail, and you'll have a climb and a descent no matter which way you go. As the trail is mapped here, you'll hike on a doubletrack for most of the climb. This route is easier on the way up.
Though this one begins as a doubletrack, the trail will narrow to singletrack about halfway through, around 2.5-3 miles into the journey. The singletrack will head off to your right, where you'll be greeted by switchbacks to finish the ascent of a rise. At the top, you'll be rewarded with a fabulous view. Follow this singletrack all the way down until you get back onto the Lost Forest Trail.
