Description

The Straight Creek Trail #99 begins at the junction with North Fork Fish Creek #103, with a mandatory crossing of the North Fork of Fish Creek and soon after a crossing of Straight Creek. Head up the Straight Creek Trail #99 which follow Straight Creek, crossing it several times throughout the hike.

The trail is in the trees for a while but the views start to open up when you reach the section of waterfalls. Near Chilcoot Pass, the trail becomes quite steep. Take a break at the pass and enjoy excellent views of the Great Burn high country.
