Description

The North Fork Fish Creek Trail #103 is the most popular trail from Clearwater Crossing. It receives a lot of equestrian use which results in a loose, dusty trail surface. The trail quickly joins the North Fork of Fish Creek and follows it most of the way up to the Stateline Divide.

The grade at the beginning is gradual and the hiking enjoyable. Reach Greenwood Cabin and a large established camping area at six miles. After the cabins, the trail crosses Greenwood Creek and French Creek.

Pass though a cedar grove with some massive trees at 10 miles. Above the cedar grove, the scenery opens up with good views of Crater Mountain and back down the North Fork drainage. At 12 miles, reach the Stateline Trail and good camping at Goose Lake.
