Description

Center Ridge starts with a big climb out of the North Fork Highwood Creek and Thain Creek (#411) to a forested ridge. The steady climb continues, crossing a few drainages that provide a few bursts of downhill.

The route continues to skirt ridgelines to its highpoint. From there, the trail has a handful of short descents and climbs before it reaches the North Fork Highwood Creek intersection.
