Description

The trail starts from a low point in the Palouse Divide Road (USFS RD 377), south of the road and adjacent to a recent clear cut. The first several miles traverse and gently descend through forest. As the trail enters a recent clear cut, the grade increases. Excellent singletrack follows through forest, including banked curves, ending in a cool cedar forest.

If you started at the Giant White Pine campground, look for the well signed trail leading back to the campground.
