Description

The beginning of the trail is bordered by private land and is only a narrow swatch of an old service road. After 3/4 of a mile, you arrive at the old dam, and the trail turns into a proper singletrack line as you skirt the edge of the rushing creek. Dolomitic limestone cliffs begin to rise along the trail, and various climber trails head up toward the rock faces. The trail separates from the cliff and continues along the creek. The higher you get on the path, the more the huge, slanted cliffs on the opposite side of the trail reveal themselves. Eventually, the trail cut off against a rocky outcropping, and it is time to turn around.
