Description

You begin from Sussex Branch Trail across from Jefferson Lake with a moderate rocky climb. At 0.6 miles, cross the Highland Trail and continue over rolling terrain to a creek crossing at 1.7 miles. At around 2.3 miles, cross the Highland Trail once again and begin a descent back to the trailhead.
