Although the water in the creeks may look clean, don't drink it!
Description
This is a gorgeous trail extending out to the Rough Hollow arm of Lake Travis with an offshoot to a spectacular cove.
The last 50 yards of the trail as mapped here are a steep set of mini-switchbacks leading down to the water. The city has put in guidelines to help those who need them getting down (and up!).
Early mornings or evenings are the best time to do this trail so that you don't have the full sun on you when you reach the water.
This is a great place to have lunch, take a dip in the lake, or just sit on the rocks at the top of the switchbacks and enjoy the view.
Flora & Fauna
There are lots of deer in this area, so don't be surprised if you cross paths with a few on the trail.
