Description

This is the slightly shorter southern section of the North Fork Tie #402, after portions were eliminated by a development a few years back. Hikers will still find a connector to the north that links from a subdivision road to the Beehive Basin Trail.

The entrance can be easy to miss as it starts off of a gravel road. But once you find it, it's a fun switchbacking descent. The trail sees traffic and tree clearing starting in the spring and is part of the popular North Fork Loop.
