Yucca Trail has mixed terrain. The first 0.5 miles is paved path, the next ~0.5 miles is mulch, and the remainder of the trail is an ascent of steep rocks and singletrack. The trail is covered in shade throughout, which makes it nice in the summer. The trail intersects several trails and ends at the intersection of Hillview Trail, which has a wonderful view. If you'd like, you are able to take the Hillview Trail and loop back to the start of the trailhead.
