Description
The start of this trail (actually a paved road) is at the junction with Highway 39. Park in the West Fork Day Use Area and cross the bridge to reach the road. The road follows the West Fork San Gabriel River. At about a mile, the trail intersects Bear Creek Trail; then within another 0.5 miles, it enters a wild trout preserve. The road climbs steadily over easy grades. There is shade along this path from oak, alder and sycamore trees. At 6.4 miles, the trail reaches Glenn Camp. The trail ends at the Cogswell Reservoir when it intersects with forest service roads.
