After getting to the alternative trail to Itacolomi Peak, keep going straight ahead and turn to the left at the rocks on the plateau. You'll hike a short, technical downhill and than a very steep uphill. You'll pass close to a creek and see the beautiful shape of Itacolomi Peak. Continue uphill, always on a singletrack trail, until you'll reach the junction with the Trilha Pico do Itacolomi where you can turn left to reach the peak.
